NORTH LIBERTY - Three Iowa City residents face prison time for a break-in alleged to have occurred early Saturday morning.
According to North Liberty police criminal complaints, around 2:44 a.m. Saturday, 33-year-old Shaneice N. Snipe, 28-year-old Lorenzo M. Seals and 24-year-old Victor N. Curry broke into a residence on Sugar Creek Lane in North Liberty. Police said a resident was assaulted and the resident's son was also threatened with physical harm.
The trio damaged property inside the residence, stole clothing from the victims and dumped it in a dumpster, police said.
All three suspects were arrested and face one count each of second-degree burglary, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
