Iowa City police investigating armed robbery

IOWA CITY - Iowa City police are searching for two suspects after responding Sunday night to a report of an armed robbery.
According to a news release, officers went to the area of Broadway Street and Hollywood Boulevard at 9 p.m. There, officers found a man who said he was approached by two other men. The man told police one of the men demanded his wallet. The man also heard what he believed was the sound of the other man manipulating a handgun, police said.
The men fled with a group of three other men following the robbery, police said.
Police said the suspects were described as being 6 feet tall and with long dreadlocks. Both men were wearing dark hoodies. One man was wearing dark pants and the other man was wearing light-colored pants, police said.
