Iowa City police: Dog in car at McDonald’s drive-through bit employee

IOWA CITY - Iowa City police are trying to identify a dog they say bit a McDonald's employee Wednesday morning.
Police said the dog was in a vehicle going through the drive-through at McDonald's, 1861 Lower Muscatine Road, around 10:15 a.m. when it bit an employee. The dog is described as a black Lab-type breed. The vehicle was a light green and tan Subaru station wagon.
Iowa City Animal Services would like to identify the dog and its owner in order to verify the dog's rabies vaccination status. Anyone with information is asked to call Iowa City Animal Services at (319) 356-5295.
