IOWA CITY - An Iowa City man was arrested for public intoxication immediately after bonding out of jail.
According to an Iowa City police criminal complaint, around 4:20 a.m. on Nov. 12, 24-year-old Danny M. Morales was bonded out of the Johnson County Jail after being charged with public intoxication.
Police said Morales, upon his release, refused to comply with officers' orders to stop yelling and wait for a cab ride home. Morales showed numerous signs of intoxication, police said. He was immediately arrested, again, on one count of public intoxication - third or subsequent offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Morales has convictions for public intoxication from February 2014 and February 2016, police said.
