Iowa City fire under investigation

IOWA CITY - No one was injured in a Wednesday evening house fire in Iowa City, fire department officials said.
According to an Iowa City Fire Department news release, firefighters were called to 60 Arbury Drive around 9 p.m. Wednesday where they encountered heavy smoke coming from a basement window and checked to ensure everyone was out of the house.
Firefighters then entered the home and searched the residence. A fire was located in the basement.
Officials said the home sustained approximately $10,000 in damages. The fire remains under investigation.
