Iowa City Animal Services looking for dog that bit someone

IOWA CITY - Iowa City Animal Services is looking for a dog that bit someone on Sunday.
According to a news release, the person reached down to pet a dog about 7 p.m. Sunday and was bitten. The incident happened outside of The Konnexion, 106 S. Linn St., police said.
The dog was described as a black and white pit bull that was shorter and appeared younger. The dog's face was half black and half white. Two men and a woman with a baby in a green stroller were with the dog.
Animal Services is trying to get information about the dog's rabies vaccination, police said. Anyone with information on the dog's owner is asked to call Animal Services at (319) 356-5295 Ext 7 or the police department at (319) 356-6800.
