Hiawatha Dairy Queen robbed

HIAWATHA - Hiawatha police are searching for two suspects in a Thursday night robbery.
Hiawatha police Chief Dennis Marks said Dairy Queen, 100 Center Point Road, was robbed shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday. Two men armed with handguns entered the store and demanded money, police said.
The suspects - who wore disguises - were able to get away on foot with a small amount of money. No one was injured during the robbery, Marks said.
Both suspects are described as black men in their teens to early 20s. One was described as being 5'10” to 6', 210 to 230 pounds and with excessive acne on his face. The second suspect was described as being 5'08” to 5'10” and weigh 225 to 250 pounds.
