Four arrested in Chickasaw County after discovery of meth dump site

CHICKASAW COUNTY - Four people have been arrested as the result of a methamphetamine investigation in rural Chickasaw County.
According to a news release from the Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office, authorities were alerted to a possible meth lab dump site in the county. Authorities said they collected evidence at the dump site, which was later cleaned by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the sheriff's office.
Evidence collected at the scene led investigators to serve warrants at residences in New Hampton and North Washington. As a result of those warrants and the investigation, police arrested Shaine G. Slick, 24, of New Hampton; Catherine B. Hauser, 24, of New Hampton; Dillon J. Refshauge, 25, of North Washington and Zaccariah D. Refshauge, 27, of North Washington.
All four suspects face charges of conspiracy to manufacture meth, a Class B felony; four counts of possession of meth precursors, a Class D felony; possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Slick also faces one count of driving while suspended, a simple misdemeanor.
