Flash flood warning remains until 7:30 a.m. in Eastern Iowa

CEDAR RAPIDS - Parts of Eastern Iowa remain under a flash flood warning Wednesday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, Linn, Johnson, Benton and Iowa counties are under a flash flood warning until 7:30 a.m. Flash flooding is occurring in Iowa City with Ralston Creek having breached its banks and Rapid Creek rising quickly.
Four to six inches of rain have already fallen in Eastern Iowa, the National Weather Service reported.
In Cedar Rapids. police Sgt. Brian Been said he wasn't aware of any significant damage, save for a tree that had fallen at Country Club Parkway and Fairway Terrace SE.
