Fingerprints link Cedar Rapids man to burglaries

CEDAR RAPIDS - Fingerprints linked a Cedar Rapids man to two October burglaries.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, burglaries were committed on M Avenue and K Avenue NE on October 14. Items taken from the residences include a laptop, multiple firearms, medication and two cellphones.
Authorities said the fingerprints of 43-year-old Frank Wells, Jr. were found at both crime scenes.
Wells was arrested and has been charged with two counts of second-degree burglary.
