Fayette Police Chief on leave

FAYETTE - The Fayette Police Chief Brad Gardner has been placed on leave, the mayor confirmed Friday.
Fayette Mayor Andrew Wenthe said Garner is on administrative leave. Wenthe would not give the reasons for why Gardner was placed on leave or when his leave began.
The Fayette City Council is scheduled to discuss Gardner at a special meeting on Monday, 'if necessary,” Wenthe said.
