CEDAR RAPIDS - Police have cited the driver in a crash that killed a Cedar Rapids woman last month.
Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said Jeremy M. Glovik, 23, has been cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian's right of way for the May 9 collision. Glenda Masek, 62, the pedestrian who was hit, later died of the injuries she suffered in the crash.
Police said Glovik was driving westbound on 15th Avenue SW around 4:31 p.m. May 9 when he turned left onto Sixth Street SW. Glovik's truck collided with Masek. Glovik stayed on the scene and was interviewed by officers, police said.
Masek died on May 18.
