Deputy identified in North English officer-involved shooting

NORTH ENGLISH - Authorities have identified the deputy involved in Saturday's officer-involved shooting in North English that killed Robin L. Blaylock.
In a joint news release on Tuesday, the Williamsburg Police Department and Iowa County Sheriff's Office said Iowa County deputy Blake Heller fired the shot that killed Blaylock. Heller also serves as a part-time police officer for Williamsburg and Marengo.
Williamsburg and Marengo police and the Iowa County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving a man with a gun in the 100 block of South Walnut Street in North English around 8:25 p.m. Saturday.
Blaylock, 53, of 108 South Walnut Street was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. No other details about the incident have been released.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the officer-involved shooting.
