URBANA - No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that shut down portions of Interstate 380 near Urbana Sunday night.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office, Urbana Police Department, Center Point Ambulance and Center Point Fire Department were called to a crash on Interstate 380 at the 38 mile marker around 7:32 p.m. Sunday. First responders found a black Kia had been hit from the rear and had come to rest on the median shoulder. A black Honda CRV was in the ditch and had rolled, authorities said.
The driver of the Kia, 31-year-old Anastasia Cullen, of Waverly; and the driver of the CRV, 18-year-old Athena Strong, of Montpelier, were both taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where they were treated and released. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, authorities said.
