Coralville woman arrested in grease attack

CORALVILLE - A Coralville woman is accused of attacking a man with hot grease.
Coralville police responded to a residence on Fourth Avenue Place around 2:21 a.m. Sunday for an argument between a man and a woman that escalated. Police said Ashley M. Bryant, 19, used a knife to cut up one of the man's shirts and then threw hot grease at him.
The man had a burn and a blister below his right eye, police said.
Bryant was arrested and faces one count of domestic assault causing injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail.
