IOWA CITY - A Chicago man was arrested after police say he drunkenly mooned a police officer and was found in possession of prescription drugs and fake IDs.
According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, just after midnight on Nov. 13, 19-year-old old Jordan J. Rihani was sitting on a wall in the Pedestrian Mall and shouting profanities at police. Officers made contact with Rihani and found he smelled strongly of alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated.
Rihani was asked to go home and began to leave the area, police said. However, officers said Rihani flipped off the officers and pulled his pants down, exposing his backside.
Police said they attempted to speak with Rihani again, but he ran. The pursuit ended when Rihani ran into a wall, police said.
Rihani was taken into custody and officers found a bag of Xanax in his pocket. He was also carrying numerous fake IDs, police said.
Rihani now faces charges of unlawful possession of a prescription drug, a serious misdemeanor; possession of a fake ID, a serious misdemeanor; interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor; public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor.
