Cedar Rapids police respond to fatal accident on Tower Terrace Road

A driver was killed Monday afternoon after a single-vehicle accident on Tower Terrace Road.
According to Cedar Rapids Public Safety Spokesman Greg Buelow, officers responded after an accident at approximately 3:39 p.m. Monday. The crash, a single vehicle rollover, was reported at the 4000 block of Tower Terrace Road, near the intersection of Tower Terrace Road and Miller Road NE.
Once they arrived, officers found that a driver had been partially ejected from a 2008 Land Rover. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Buelow.
The driver's identity is being withheld pending notification of family members, according to Buelow. The incident remains under investigation.
