Cedar Rapids police respond for unconscious woman, find meth precursors

CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Rapids police discovered items used to make meth when responding to a report of a woman passed out in a car.
According to public safety spokesman Greg Buelow, around 8:30 a.m. Sunday officers responded to 3310 Southgate Court SW for a report of a woman sleeping or passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot. Responding officers discovered Ashley A. Keller, 33, of Cedar Rapids inside the running car.
Police said when they approached the vehicle, they could see numerous items used to make methamphetamine inside the car. A small baggie of marijuana was also visible.
Keller was taken into custody and has been charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of possession of meth precursors.
