Cedar Rapids police investigate reported hit-and-run

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating a reported hit-and-run that hospitalized a man Monday morning.
According to city public safety spokesman Greg Buelow, the 19-year-old victim was crossing Ellis Boulevard NW at Q Avenue at 12:45 a.m. Monday when he was hit by a car. Police said the man was taken to the hospital, where he received treatment for unspecified injuries.
Police said they are looking for a 4-door car and do not have any more information on the suspect vehicle. Officers received conflicting information on the direction of travel for the suspect vehicle.
