Cedar Rapids police find mobile meth lab

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids Police Department discovered a mobile meth lab Monday afternoon.
According to police, officers made a traffic stop at 1 p.m. in the 1300 block of Second Avenue SE. During the stop, officers discovered what appeared to be a mobile meth lab in the vehicle.
Police said 25-year-old Todd A. Lewis was the driver of the vehicle and 22-year-old Hanna R. Madren and 30-year-old Amber M. Sheppard were passengers in the vehicle. All three of them are from Cedar Rapids, police said.
Numerous items used in the manufacturing of meth were found in the vehicle, including ammonia nitrate, Coleman fuel, pseudoephedrine and lithium batteries, according to court documents.
Each of the vehicle's occupants faces charges of manufacturing meth and six counts of possession of meth precursors.
Various supplies used to make methamphetamine. These supplies were confiscated in Linn County within the last few years.
