Cedar Rapids men face charges for pellet gun shooting spree

CEDAR RAPIDS - Two Cedar Rapids men are accused of shooting up vehicles in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha and Palo with pellet guns.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, on Aug. 7, 19-year-old Richard Whitney and 20-year-old Timothy Booher, damaged multiple vehicles with pellet guns. The men caused more than $1,000, but less than $10,000 in property damage, authorities said.
Both men have been arrested and face charges of second- and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
