Cedar Rapids man found with stolen gun after traffic stop

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man was found with a stolen handgun after a traffic stop on Saturday.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office and Cedar Rapids Police Department, 34-year-old Chrishawn L. Stuckey was pulled over in the 1500 block of Fourth Avenue SE around 12:15 a.m. Police said Stuckey appeared to be drunk and he was arrested for drunken driving.
A subsequent search turned up a loaded .40 caliber Glock pistol. Police said gun was reported stolen in October 2015. Stuckey also did not have a valid permit to possess a handgun, authorities said.
Stuckey was arrested and has been charged with trafficking in stolen weapons, prohibited acquisition of a pistol, carrying weapons, second-offense drunken driving and failure to possess or display a weapon permit.
Stuckey was previously convicted of drunken driving in April 2012, according to the criminal complaint.
