Cedar Rapids man accused of shooting woman, van with BB gun

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of shooting a woman with a BB gun.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, police were called to the area of Berkshire Drive and C Avenue NE on Saturday for a report of shots fired from a BB gun. During their investigation, police found 18-year-old Troy T. Hepker had shot a woman with a BB gun, hitting her in the arm.
Hepker also shot a minivan, causing three dents to the vehicle.
Hepker was arrested and faces charges of assault causing bodily injury and third-degree criminal mischief.
