CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of manufacturing meth in his vehicle.
Cedar Rapids police said 21-year-old James T. Marx was found to have an active meth lab in his vehicle when they pulled him over in the 2000 block of Otis Road around 3 a.m. Thursday. Marx also had several meth precursors in the vehicle.
Police said Marx gave officers a fake name.
Marx has been charged with manufacturing meth, three counts of possession of precursors and providing false identification information. Marx also had outstanding warrants for forgery, manufacturing meth and possession of precursors, according to Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow.
