CEDAR RAPIDS - You're a mean one, Mr. Jones.
A Cedar Rapids man, 28-year-old Marsalis T. Jones is accused of doing his best Grinch impersonation when he broke into a Cedar Rapids home and damaging several items, including a Christmas tree.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, Jones broke out a window in a 15th Street SE apartment on Dec. 26 and entered the residence. Once inside, Jones damaged several items belonging to the tenant, including a Christmas tree and a laptop.
Jones then fell asleep in the victim's bed, authorities said. He was arrested and faces charges of third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
