Cedar Rapids Fire Department receiving a Resusci Anne CPR unit

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids Fire Department will receive a new CPR training device next week.
On Monday, the fire department is to be presented with a Resusci Anne CPR unit. The donation was made by Randy Kuehl Honda in partnership with the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation.
Public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said a Resusci Anne CPR unit has a feedback device to measure the quality of CPR being administered and provide real-time feedback on compression rate, depth, release, hands-off time and other aspects of CPR.
Established in 1975, the NADA Foundation's Medical Grant's program has provided more than 4,900 CPR training units to organizations across the country, Buelow said.
