Cedar Rapids chase ends in rollover crash, arrest

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man was arrested following a chase and crash Monday.
Public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said officers attempted to pull over 19-year-old Tyler Minor near Bowling Street and 41st Avenue Drive SW around 11:40 p.m. Monday. Police said Minor refused to pull over and evaded police.
The chase ended when Minor crashed and rolled his vehicle at C Street and 76th Avenue. Minor and an 18-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital and treated for their injuries.
Minor was arrested Tuesday night. He faces charges of operating while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, eluding and numerous moving violations.
