Atkins man charged with sex abuse

ATKINS - An Atkins man has been arrested in an April sex abuse case there.
According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, 72-year-old Wayne C. Foster was arrested Friday and has been charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony, and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor. The charges stem from an incident on April 17 in Atkins allegedly involving Foster and a the female victim.
Foster was released from custody following his initial court appearance and is on pretrial release supervision, according to the sheriff's office.
