Sunday marked one month since 11-year-old Xavior Harrelson disappeared from a mobile home park, and authorities have remained silent for more than two weeks, releasing no new information regarding the investigation. A benefit concert is planned for Tuesday night starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Poweshiek County Fairgrounds at 425 East Street S in Grinnell.

Thursday marks two weeks since 11-year-old Xavior Harrelson left his home at a mobile home park in northwest Montezuma and disappeared. The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that a reward fund has been established to encourage those who may have information regarding the boy’s disappearance to come forward.

Detectives are considering several possibilities in the disappearance of Xavior Harrelson, including that he was abducted, that he suffered some kind of accident or that he ran away.
