A Tama County man who has been missing since Dec. 19 was found dead Tuesday in Newton County, Arkansas, according to a news release from the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Law enforcement in Iowa and Arkansas are seeking the public’s help finding a Tama County man who has been missing since he left home two weeks ago.

Jerome “Jerry” Lepperd -- who police were looking for after the Iowa-Oregon game Saturday, has been found and is safe.
