Supervisors Rod Sullivan, Lisa Green-Douglas and Royceann Porter voted to terminate Executive Director Guillermo Morales, who was hired in March 2023 at a $103,545 salary and given a $3,000 bonus earlier this year.

The fast-growing Johnson County town of Tiffin is moving closer to finalizing plans for a new recreation center. A series of public meetings will be held to gather input on the plans, which tentatively include an indoor track, exercise equipment and basektball courts that would double as space for volleyball and pickleball.
