A couple hundred people gathered Saturday on the downtown Pedestrian Mall to protest terminations of federal workers who serve Iowa veterans, seniors and farmers, and called on the district’s congresswoman, Republican U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, to stand up for them.
