Cedar Rapids Public Library gets the largest allocation at $4 million. That money will go toward construction of a new west side library.
The council’s approval signals support for fully renovating City Park Pool, which residents have pushed back against because they want to preserve the character of the existing pool. The approval is not a binding decision, the city said. A design and public input process is slated to begin late next year.
