Ferrari and fourth-ranked Iowa will face a tough test Friday against No. 1 Penn State at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, beginning at 6 p.m. The Nittany Lions (7-0, 1-0 Big Ten) own an NCAA record 78-dual win streak and has won four straight against the Hawkeyes (8-2, 1-0).

Ben Kueter hasn’t competed in more than a month. He was back in Iowa-s lineup, scoring a takedown in sudden victory to beat Wisconsin’s No. 9 Braxton Amos. The Hawkeyes beat the Badgers, 23-12, Friday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The Trojans are ranked seventh in Class 3A. They won nine matches, including eight by pin or technical fall, to defeat Cedar Rapids Xavier, 47-19, in a boys wrestling dual Thursday night at West. The Trojans won the girls’ dual, 42-39.

Patrick Kennedy tasted the bittersweet success of an All-American performance without achieving his ultimate goal of a national title. He is hungry to even better in his final season with the Hawkeyes.
