Here is The Gazette’s post-Week 2 Iowa high school football poll. All of the No. 1s remain the same, including unanimous picks Lewis Central (4A), West Sioux (1A) and Remsen St. Mary’s (8-Player).

The four pools in the Mount Vernon volleyball tournament are named after the school’s four IGHSAU hall-of-famers. Someday, if she stays on her current trajectory, Chloe Meester might join them.
