He then went to NCAA Division II Emory and Henry College in Virginia for two years, then Boston College last season. BC let him go, and he has ended up with the Hawkeyes. The left-hander has allowed just two earned runs the past three months despite a fastball that’s generally just 86 to 87 miles per hour.
