Iowa high school boys’ state team tennis 2023 brackets, schedule
Pairings have been released for the 2023 Iowa high school boys’ state team tennis tournaments with Waukee Northwest and Pella as the top seeds.
The meets will be held May 31-June 1 with Northwest hosting the 2A meet. Class 1A teams will play at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center in Iowa City.
This is the first year for a two-day, eight team state tournament.
Three Gazette area schools — defending champion Iowa City West, Linn-Mar and Cedar Rapids Washington — are in the 2A field while defending champion Cedar Rapids Xavier and Decorah are in the 1A draw.
Quarterfinal matches on May 31 begin at 9 a.m. at both sites with semifinals to follow. On June 1, the third-place dual will be at 9 a.m., the title matches at 10 a.m.
