Iowa vs. Northwestern predictions
Line — Iowa -10.5
Mike Hlas — Soccer is the world’s favorite sport. Today’s game at Kinnick probably won’t change that. Iowa 20, Northwestern 0
John Steppe — I often told my predecessor (who got her master’s degree from Northwestern) that she went to the second-best J-school in the Midwest. My alma mater, Marquette, is obviously No. 1. Iowa 17, Northwestern 3
Jeff Johnson — Northwestern Coach Pat Fitzgerald kidded that perhaps this game should be played at 6 a.m. I’m thinking earlier. Let’s say 3 a.m. As few people as possible need to see this game. Iowa 5, Northwestern 4
Rob Gray — The Wildcats haven’t won a game since vanquishing Nebraska in their season opener. The Hawkeyes have been outscored 90-30 this month in three straight losses. Whichever defense scores wins. Iowa 10, Northwestern 6
Beth Malicki — This weekend we’re doing everything that I love about this state: watch the Hawkeyes win, go apple picking and watch my husband blow leaves for three hours while I’m inside, snug as a bug. Iowa 19, Northwestern 10
Todd Brommelkamp — The Big Ten should have taken Pat Fitzgerald up on that 6 a.m. kickoff time. Iowa 28, Northwestern 0
