Linn-Mar’s Morgan Rupp has placed in the top five in all three state appearances, earning medalist honors the last two seasons. She will vie for a third straight crown at the Class 4A state meet Thursday and Friday at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City.
The Iowa City school district is considering investing $104.6 million into the next round of projects in the district, including field houses and fine arts additions at the high schools, improvements to athletic fields, performance spaces, outdoor classrooms and playgrounds, and projects with community partners.
“I really have high expectations for myself to be here,” Dylan Schulte said after winning both of his 2A state singles matches Tuesday at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. “I knew I was going to make it this far.”
