College football TV guide: Week 10 schedule, top games to watch

The first edition of the College Football Playoff rankings this season are out, and this Saturday lines up perfectly with a slate of games that could shake up the CFP picture at the end of the season.

Here's your college football TV guide for Saturday, Nov. 3. All times central.

Early window

After snapping a 14-game Big 12 losing streak with a 27-26 win over TCU last week, Kansas (3-5, 1-4) hosts No. 24 Iowa State (4-3, 3-2) this Saturday (11 a.m., FSN). Here's a preview of that game.

No. 2 Clemson (8-0, 5-0) has been quietly dominant since a close call against Syracuse, outscoring its last three foes 163-23 with freshman Trevor Lawrence quarterbacking. Louisville (2-6, 0-5) is probably the Tigers' next victim (11 a.m., ABC).

The last of No. 16 Iowa's (6-2, 3-2) four-road-games-in-five stretch is this week at Purdue (4-4, 3-2) in what looks like a Big Ten West elimination game (2:30 p.m., ESPN2). Here's what to watch for.

No. 5 Michigan (7-1, 5-0) is undefeated in conference play and atop the Big Ten East. One of the nation's best defenses will be tasked with stopping Trace McSorley and No. 14 Penn State (6-2, 3-2) this week (2:45 p.m, ESPN).

Maybe college football's biggest surprise team this season, ninth-ranked Kentucky (7-1, 5-1), can take control of the SEC East race if it knocks off No. 6 Georgia (7-1, 5-1) at home (2:30 p.m., CBS). Another game with potential conference title implications: No. 17 Texas (6-2, 4-1) hosts No. 13 West Virginia (6-1, 4-1) in a pivotal Big 12 showdown (2:30 p.m., Fox).
