Iowa's perfect home record in 2019-20 Big Ten men's basketball games fell apart Wednesday night as Purdue ran away with a 77-68 victory.

The Boilermakers outscored the Hawkeyes by 45 points in their two meetings this season.
Luka Garza scored 26 points — his 15th straight game with 20-plus points — and had 12 rebounds, four steals and four blocks, but it was little consolation.

Live updates recap
4:31 2nd: Purdue 66, Iowa 53
Luka Garza has surpassed 20-plus points for the 15th straight game, but that's little consolation at this point as Purdue maintains a double-digit lead.
7:57 2nd: Purdue 59, Iowa 46
The Hawkeyes are running out of time for a comeback. Luka Garza has 19 points and 11 rebounds, but Purdue has 17 offensive boards and Iowa is 5 of 23 from 3-point range.
11:47 2nd: Purdue 54, Iowa 38
Iowa got within 11, but Purdue quickly pushed the lead back up to 18 with a 7-0 run, including Jahhad Proctor's second 3.
15:49 2nd: Purdue 45, Iowa 33
Ryan Kriener started the second half for Iowa and has given the Hawkeyes a bit of a spark with a 3-pointer and 1-for-2 trip to the line.
Still plenty of work to do, obviously, but a 1-for-5 start to the half and four turnovers for Purdue helps.
Halftime: Purdue 42, Iowa 25
So far, this one looks a lot like the first time these two teams met. You could sum it up with one sequence, when Purdue's Evan Boudreaux hit a 3-pointer, then Jahaad Proctor got a steal in the backcourt and layup to put the Boilermakers up 42-21 with 1:52 left in the half.
Purdue shot 48.6 percent and had an 11-2 advantage in second-chance points.
Iowa shot 39 percent, including 3 for 16 from 3-point range. Luka Garza has 10 points and six rebounds.
3:41 1st: Purdue 33, Iowa 21
A 7-0 run gave the Boilermakers their largest lead (15) before a Connor McCaffery 3-pointer. Purdue has eight offensive rebounds and 11 second-chance points.
Iowa Coach Fran McCaffery was whistled for a technical foul arguing a call during that run.
7:49 1st: Purdue 24, Iowa 16
Iowa is 1 for its last 7 and hasn't scored in 2:01. The Hawkeyes are 2 of 10 from 3-point range and CJ Fredrick has the only two makes.
11:48 1st: Purdue 16, Iowa 9
CJ Fredrick broke a 4-minute, 23-second scoring drought with a 3-pointer to cut the lead to 11-7, but Purdue went back up nine a few minutes later on a Jahaad Proctor 3.
The Boilermakers have four offensive rebounds, Iowa none.
15:28 1st: Purdue 11, Iowa 4
Look familiar? The Boilermakers are out to a fast start against the Hawkeyes again. Iowa led 4-3 but Purdue is on a 7-0 run entering the first media timeout. Four Boilers have already scored.
