I serve as The Gazette’s Linn County government reporter and cover local government and municipal services in Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha and surrounding Linn County communities. I have been a journalist in northeast Iowa for three years. I have covered topics ranging from local government and business to public safety and courts. My favorite part of my job is learning a bit about a lot while connecting with the community I call home. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking and fiber arts.
