Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds announced Universal Television was awarded a $6 million grant for the “Field of Dreams” television series that starts filming in Iowa later this year.

The governor also is requesting the courts rehear a recent case on abortion regulations in order to set standards for future restrictions.

The city of Cedar Rapids is holding an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Services Center for input on the relocation of the skatepark at Riverside Park, which will make way for a detention basin.
