The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival has announced the 2022 Heroes: Willie Ray Fairley, Robert Feiereisen and Bridgette Robinson. Selected through a community nomination process, they will be honored at The Tribute to Heroes Dinner on June 17 and act as parade marshals in the Freedom Festival parade on June 25.

The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival has announced the return of the annual Tribute to Heroes Dinner and the event’s keynote speaker, University of Iowa Women’s Wrestling Coach Clarissa Chun. The dinner is June 17 and hero nominations are still being accepted until Friday.
