Both Saturday games pair teams from opposite sides of the state, giving us an early measuring stick.
At Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids, sixth-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy takes on No. 2 West Des Moines Dowling at 6:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, Valley Stadium in West Des Moines hosts an 8-Player doubleheader. No. 7 Fremont-Mills and No. 10 WACO meet at 7 p.m., after the 3 p.m. game between Coon Rapids-Bayard and Turkey Valley.
