CapCO2 Solutions and Adkins Energy LLC, based in Lena, Illinois, will partner for a project to test technology that would capture CO2 at the plant, combine it with hydrogen and turn it into green methanol -- a desirable renewable fuel.

“We continue to believe that embracing new opportunities and markets will prove to be incredibly beneficial for Iowa agriculture,” entrepreneur Bruce Rastetter says.

Members of Iowa’s delegation stood their fertile ground, ultimately persuading their party’s leaders to yield so the members could support the bill.
