A Cedar Rapids man was arrested Monday on charges that he lit a fire in a motel, was taken to a hospital, and then lit a fire in the hospital.

The Iowa City Police Department is investigating a suspicious death that happened Monday at a residence in the 300 Block of Camden Road, according to a news release from the department.

Jodie Beth Thomas, 83, was last seen on Dec. 13.
