Three injured in SW Cedar Rapids crash

CEDAR RAPIDS - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in southwest Cedar Rapids Thursday morning.
According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, deputies, Cedar Rapids police and fire officials, the Fairfax Fire Department and Area Ambulance were called to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 7:20 a.m. Thursday at Williams Boulevard and Dean Road.
Authorities said 16-year-old Cassandra Pasker, of Cedar Rapids, was turning north from Dean Road onto Williams Boulevard and drove in the path of 60-year-old Cynthia Stimson, of Marion, who was southbound on Williams.
Stimson was taken to UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Pasker and a passenger in her vehicle, 12-year-old Zoie Pasker, were taken to Mercy Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Cassandra Pasker was also cited for failing to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
