Stabbing in Iowa City injures 2

Two people were injured in a stabbing early Sunday in downtown Iowa City, according to a news release from the Iowa City Police Department.
The stabbing happened at 1:19 a.m. inside The Haven, which describes itself as a smoothie and juice bar and performance venue, at 220 S. Van Buren St., which formally housed a hookah lounge called the H Bar.
Police said the injuries were non-life threatening, but did not provide other information about the victims.
Police are seeking the public’s help identifying the female assailant — or those who have video — in the stabbing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Detective Alec Fjelstul at AFjelstul@iowa-city.org.
