Police investigate shots fired in southeast Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS - No one was injured during a shooting on 15th Street SE Monday afternoon.
Police responded to 411 15th St. SE around noon on Monday for a report of shots fired. Cedar Rapids police Lt. Cory McGarvey said police confirmed a shooting took place, but no one was injured. There was minor property damage, McGarvey said.
The subject was last seen running east on Fourth Avenue, McGarvey said.
No arrests have been made and the shooting still is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
